At NYLAG in the Tenants’ Rights Unit, Shanna provides legal assistance to tenant’s facing eviction in nonpayment proceedings or holdover proceedings. Prior to joining NYLAG, Shanna worked at Nassau/Suffolk Law Services in the Landlord/Tenant Unit assisting attorneys on matters dealing with tenant eviction in nonpayment proceedings and holdover proceedings. Additionally, Shanna has some experience ranging from working in the Appellate Division to preparing case briefs on trademark law. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association. In addition to receiving outstanding awards and honors in law school, Shanna earned her Juris Doctorate from Touro Law Center as a Pro Bono Scholar. She also attended Stony Brook University; graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
