Sarah is a coordinating attorney with NYLAG’s Consumer Protection¬†Unit, where she participates in the Volunteer Law For A Day (VLFD) Program in the Bronx and Queens. Through VLFD, Sarah represents pro se consumer debtors who have been sued by debt collectors. Sarah also advises clients on an array of consumer-related legal challenges, including bankruptcy and repairing credit histories.¬† Prior to joining the Consumer Protection Project, Sarah volunteered with NYLAG’s Evelyn Frank Legal Resources Program . Sarah graduated cum laude from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2013 and received her B.A. from Oberlin College.
