Rebecca represents low-income New Yorkers in accessing and maintaining Medicare, Medicaid, and long term care services. In 2012, she was awarded a two-year Skadden Fellowship, which supported her advocacy on behalf of “dual eligibles” — those who receive both Medicare and Medicaid. The fellowship was hosted at Selfhelp Community Services and NYLAG. Following her Skadden Fellowship, she was a law clerk for Magistrate Judge Lois Bloom in the Eastern District of New York. She returned to NYLAG in 2017 to continue her advocacy for dual eligibles and other vulnerable Medicaid recipients. Rebecca is a graduate of CUNY School of Law and Wellesley College.
