Mina represents survivors of domestic violence in family offense, immigration, matrimonial, custody, visitation and support proceedings.  Prior to joining NYLAG, Mina was a staff attorney at the Center for Representation where she represented parents in abuse and neglect, termination of parental rights and custody and visitation proceedings in New York and Queens Family Court.  Mina has interned at numerous public defender and non-profit organizations throughout New York, including New York County Defender Services, the Legal Aid Society and Bronx Defenders advocating on behalf of low-income and vulnerable communities.  Mina received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law where she was a student attorney in the Center for Social Justice Family Law Clinic representing survivors of domestic violence in restraining order, custody, visitation and divorce proceedings and was a recipient of the Charles H. Revson Law Student Public Interest Fellowship.  Mina received her B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis with a major in Women and Gender Studies.  Mina is admitted to practice in New York State and is fluent in Spanish.
