Michael Connors is a Staff Attorney in the Evelyn Frank Legal Resources Program at the New York Legal Assistance Group. He represents low income New Yorkers in accessing and maintaining Medicare, Medicaid, and long term care services. Michael originally joined NYLAG in 2015 during his final semester of law school as a Pro Bono Scholar with the Tenants’ Rights Unit. The Pro Bono Scholar Program allowed him to devote his final semester of law school to eviction prevention for low income New Yorkers throughout New York City. Upon graduation from law school, Michael returned to NYLAG and the Tenants’ Rights Unit on a two-year Poverty Justice Solutions Fellowship before ultimately joining the Evelyn Frank Legal Resources Program in 2017. Michael is a graduate of CUNY School of Law and Boston College.
