Jahna Locke is an Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Elder Justice Legal fellow. She focuses on representing victims of elder abuse and providing free legal services to New Yorkers in the five boroughs, Long Island, and Westchester. Jahna works with community partners and multi-disciplinary teams to address complex elder abuse cases””she also conducts know-your-rights and senior advocate trainings to promote elder justice. Jahna received her J.D. from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law and she attended the University of Wyoming for her undergraduate degree. The Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Elder Justice fellowship is the first program of its kind to provide high quality legal services to low-income older adults who have been victims of abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
