Paul represents low-income Manhattan tenants in housing court and in administrative proceedings. Prior to joining TRU, Paul worked at the Brooklyn Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project, administering the Volunteer Lawyer for a Day Program in consumer debt defense in Kings County Civil Court. Previously, Paul was a Staff Attorney in NYLAG’s Storm Response Unit, where he assisted New Yorkers affected by Hurricane Sandy with preserving home rebuild and home repair benefits. Paul began his career in public interest law as a housing attorney at The Legal Aid Society, where he represented low-income tenants facing eviction proceedings in Queens. Paul received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, and his B.A. from Fordham University.
