Katie is a staff attorney in NYLAG’s Mobile Legal Help Center and the Tenants’ Rights Unit. Katie meets with clients in all 5 boroughs on the van and assists them with housing matters. She represents low-income tenants in Housing Court and administrative proceedings. Katie interned with several nonprofit legal services organizations while in law school, including Neighborhood Defender Services of Harlem in the Civil Practice, MFJ in the Workplace Justice Unit, Youth Represent and Brooklyn Legal Services in the HIV/LGBT Unit. Katie received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School where she was an Edward V. Sparer Public Interest Law Fellow and Brooklyn Law Students for the Public Interest Law Fellow. She received her B.A. in Social Science from Hampshire College.
