Kim Susser is the Director of NYLAG's Matrimonial & Family Law Unit. She also serves as adjunct professor at St. John's University School of Law teaching a domestic violence seminar. Prior to joining NYLAG in 1997, Ms. Susser was the staff attorney at Victim Services Westside Legal Project (now known as Safe Horizon), where she represented victims of domestic violence. She also worked as a trial attorney in the Juvenile Rights Division of the Legal Aid Society. Ms. Susser speaks and leads trainings frequently on domestic violence issues. She contributed articles to the Lawyer’s Manual on Domestic Violence and was published in the Fordham Urban Law Journal in January 2000. Ms. Susser serves as a member of the Lawyers Committee Against Domestic Violence.
